Mrs. Phyllis Jean Ball Breeding, age 66, of the Big A Mountain section of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (October 20, 2019) at the Hospice House in Bristol, Tennessee. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darnell Breeding, infant daughter, Tonya Renee Ball, brother, Benny Irvin Ball, paternal grandparents, Washington Irvin Ball, Sr. and Rachel Smith Ball, and maternal grandparents, Andrew and Pearl McGlothlin.
In addition to her mother, survivors include five brothers, Donald Lee Ball and wife, Birtty, Billy Ball and wife, Becky, Gary Ball and companion, Donna Miller, and James Ball and wife, Michelle all of Big A Mountain, and David Ball and wife, Ruth of Drill; sister, Brenda Dellinger and husband, Karl; step-children, James Breeding and wife, Dorothy, Glen Breeding and wife, Sherree, Geary Breeding, and Terri Clark and husband, Stephen; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bristol Hospice House.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Elder Jim Duty, Elder Jim O’Quinn, and Elder Don Stacy officiating.
