Juston Miller, age 87, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Saturday (May 4, 2019) at his home. Born December 14, 1931 in Swords Creek, Virginia, he was a son of the late Roscoe and Leona Crouse Miller. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a retired coal miner, having been employed for Clinchfield Coal Company for forty-two years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jessie Miller and brothers, Harold Lee Miller, Lacy Miller and Preston Miller.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-six years, Lula Mae Miller of the home; four children, Terry Miller and wife, Deborah, David Miller and wife, Tracie and Chris Miller and wife, Shelley all of Honaker, Virginia and Tammi Davis and husband, Wayne of Swords Creek, Virginia; six grandchildren, Joshua Miller and wife, Jody, Brock Miller and wife, Meg, Tyler Davis and wife, Crystal, Ethan Davis and wife, Emma, Madison Miller and Dawson Miller; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Houston Miller and Stevie Miler; one sister, Roberta Helton; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 PM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Perkins officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday in the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Honaker Funeral Home from 6 PM Tuesday until the funeral hour.
