Mimiah Bell Peck Reynolds, age 95, of the Reynolds’ Ridge section of Honaker, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday (April 19, 2019) at her home. Born March 5, 1924 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Gracie Stump Peck. A lifelong resident of the area, she attended Wilson’s Chapel as long as her health permitted. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Harry Reynolds; sisters, Mary Reynolds, Myrtle Reynolds and Lizzie Plaster and brothers, Billy Peck and Pete Peck. In her generation, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include three sons, Willard Reynolds and Joe Reynolds both of Honaker, Virginia and Buford Reynolds of Rowe, Virginia; five grandchildren, Donna Palmer, John Reynolds, Earl Reynolds and wife, Jessica, Melissa Smith and husband, Jamie and Kayla Reynolds; seven great-grandchildren, Travis Palmer and wife, Samantha, Courtney Charles and husband, Cody, Lucas Palmer, Scotty Smith, Hailey Smith, Colton Reynolds and Isabella Reynolds; one great-great-grandson, Walker Palmer; two step-great-grandchildren, Madison Clark and Rachel Clark and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leonard Meadows and Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery on Reynolds Ridge.
Pallbearers will be Travis Palmer, Lucas Palmer, Cody Charles, Kenny Palmer, Dean Reynolds and Jamie Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Smith and Colton Reynolds.
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Monday at the Honaker Funeral Home where an evening song service will be conducted at 7 PM.

I only met this sweet lady once, she was very nice to me and I enjoyed my visit [ some 25 yrs. ago ]. My condolences to her family. I pray God will give you peace and comfort at this time of your loss. Blessings
