I was very sorry to hear that Arkie was ill and I am very sorry for your loss. He is my brother in law ( Henry's brother. I've known Arkie since I've known Henry, about 57 years now. Arkie was always good to me and fun to be around, helped me with my school project, he went out and cut the cabbages and we cooked a meal for his mom, Goldie, Granny Stevens, Uncle Sam, and June. Arkie would stop by to see my mom and dad when I'd come up from Fl., got to see him then. He was a hard working man and always had a good sense of humor. Rest in Peace my old friend. I am sorry to read that Alice has passed away as well. Our prayers are with the family.

I am so sorry to hear about my sweet ole friend Arkie. Arkie and I became friends when he would get me to make a copy each month for his mother at the elementary. My nickname Pearlene came about that Arkie called me Pearlene instead of Pauline. Rest easy ole friend. Love and prayers for all of his family you will be missed.
