Obituary for Nathaniel George Taylor

Nathaniel George Taylor
Nathaniel George Taylor, age 17, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Sunday (August 6, 2017) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born August 22, 1999 in Abingdon, Virginia, he was a son of George Perry Taylor, III and Kimberly Ann Subblett Woodward both of Honaker, Virginia. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a 2017 graduate of Honaker High School where he and his teammates enjoyed many special times playing football. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and was making plans to attend Lincoln Tech in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a very kind hearted and giving individual; even in his tragic death, he continued to give life to others through organ donation.
In addition to his parents, survivors include one brother, Kaiden Zacheriah Woodward; one sister, Abagail Grace Woodward; step-father, Johnny V. Woodward of Lebanon, Virginia; grandparents, Beverly and Lawrence Taylor and Johnny and Faylene Woodward; special friend, Kaitlyn Couch and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phyllis Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in the Frank Smith Cemetery on Big A Mountain.
Pallbearers will be Rex Smith, Jr., Daylon Smith, Adam Byrd, Andrew “Bull” Dye, Hunter Hess, Joseph Ray, Logan “Papi” Justus, Nathan Casey, Austin Ray and Dustin Carner.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 5 PM Friday.
