Obituary for Chris Bowman

Chris Bowman
Chris Bowman, age 34, of Bandy, Virginia passed away Sunday (July 23, 2017) at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. Born April 3, 1983 in Grundy, Virginia, he was a son of Don Artrip of Buchanan County, Virginia and the late Goldie Gay Bowman. A lifelong resident of Buchanan and Tazewell counties, he was a loving husband, father, son and brother and enjoyed working on vehicles.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by triplet sisters, Nellie Bowman, Christy Bowman and Misty Bowman and his father-in-law.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife of nine years, Tiffany Bowman and daughter, Katrina Bowman both of the home; three brothers, Shawn Bowman and wife, Missy and John Mills both of Bandy, Virginia and Jason Artrip of Lebanon; three sisters, Sarah Mills of North Carolina, Christi Mills of Wardell and Mellisa Artrip; one nephew, Shawn Bowman; two nieces, Shiann Bowman and Kaylee Bowman; mother-in-law, Laura Woodyard and many friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Jessee officiating. Interment will follow in the Bowman Cemetery at Bandy, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made in the form of donations to the Chris Bowman Memorial Fund c/o Honaker Funeral Home P.O. Box 1620 Honaker, Virginia 24260.
